Audit Senior
We are looking for a self motivated qualified accountant(ACA or ACCA) who is looking for an opportunity to progress and make a long term commitment to Bartfields.
You should predominantly have a practice background and have good technical skills particularly so far as concerns auditing and accounts preparation. As far as auditing is concerned you should have recent and up to date practical experience.
The role will primarily consist of looking after a portfolio of clients, mainly limited companies, but also some LLPs, partnerships and sole traders across a diverse range of sectors. This will mainly consist of preparation of management accounts and statutory annual accounts as well as the audit where appropriate plus related compliance work such as Company Tax Returns and company secretarial matters.
The person appointed will report either to a manager or directly to a partner/director. There is a team of accounts/audit staff that will be available to assist on assignments and wherever possible we encourage the use of members of the team and delegation of work. This provides valuable practical training for staff for which the person appointed will be partly responsible for.
Whilst initially the position will be that of a senior and will be very much a hands on role we are looking for someone who is keen to progress.
Ideally we think the position would suit someone from a general practice background who has at least a few years post qualification experience but we would possibly consider a newly qualified if they have had the right experience.
